Sunday Bliss!

Today I will spend a little quiet time after a busy week and a busy Saturday, I will take time to pray for some sick family and friends. I will take a moment and pray for a blogging friend going through some health issues. I will get some much needed time to spend relaxing. I will get some time with my granddaughter, I will get the house cleaned and I will enjoy the small things. I found some cute things while shopping at the Goodwill the other day. Oh and I will wash the sheets pictured above to the right and iron and put on spare bed. Hope you enjoy your Sunday! Blessings Pam

A lovely crown!

I ordered this  crown through scentsy. It is suppose to go over their warmer. I was amazed at its size and for $12.00 I couldn't resist. I am not sure it will ever make it to my scentsy pot. I put it on my dress form. It is a pretty gold but would look so cute painted white. Hmn maybe the spray paint will come out. I am participating in a local barn show this weekend. I am excited about this and hoping to sale what didn't at the last antiques in the streets. Hope  you enjoy your Wednesday. Blessings Pam

At the present:

This little guy is taking alot of my time. Meet Porter he is a 9wk papered boxer puppy. We went and got him Friday evening. Things are going better than I expected them too. Potty training is going great, expect I have  to watch him all the time. My freedom has changed a bit. Scruffy our other dog is so old now. He is deaf and blind and doesn't cause any trouble or care. He has been the best dog we have ever had. I just don't know how much time we will have him. So this little guy will surely help when the time comes. Enjoy your day. Blessings Pam

Fall Fetish!

I am loving the brisk mornings. I am loving the color changes. This little mum and sign was dropped off on Monday from my sister in law (friend) Starla as a happy Monday gift. How sweet is that. I had the little rusty crusty box and added that. Again I say it is hard to decorate for fall when we are having 80 degree days, but the signs of change are coming. Looking forward to leggings and winter boots real soon. Today my sister and I are going after work to our local Blackberry Junction fall show. I have been itching to go. Sometimes I buy sometimes it just inspires me to come home and create. I hope you have a wonderful day! Blessings Pam

Sunday Musings!

Musings:A source of inspiration. I am trying to get inspired to do stuff around the house today as I return to work after ten days tomorrow. I am glad to be feeling better to do so! I am a person that gets things accomplished the busier I am! Give me to much time and I put things off. I guess alot of people fit in that category. I have been enjoying the time I had making these collages on my phone of things around the home. I really need to get my camera fixed. I forget about it as I have my phone handy all the time.

This stool is a redo. It was ready to go to the salvage yard or be burned at my parents and I of course saw the potential in it. Nothing fancy but I like it. I keep saying I hope I never get tired of burlap or I will be getting rid of pretty much everything. lol!
My little pumpkins have sure been fun to make. I hope to find some more as I have been making them for gifts. I finally remembered where I saw them. So if you would like to sift through her blog it is a lot of fun.

Here is a shot of my dog Scuffy. Check out the last picture. I said that pretty sums up what he thought about his grooming appt yesterday. Silly dog. Well I hope you enjoy your Sunday. I am going to do a little and rest alot before going back to work tomorrow... Blessings Pam

Feels like Fall!

Today is feeling like fall is approaching. The weather is calm, and cooler. A little sprinkle on my car window this morning. It reminded me that fall is coming. We have had some real nice weather the first two weeks of September. I am starting  to feel back to normal. When your sick or laid up do you ever wonder how you get it all done when your well? I did, its amazing how much stuff a person accomplishes in a day. When you don't how quick it all falls apart.

A few weeks ago I entered a giveaway over at http://www.holidaywithmatthewmead.com/2013/09/some-spooktacular-winners.html ! I was one of the winners. It arrived yesterday, I sifted real quick through the pics and decided to wait until I could sit and savor each page. It looks amazing. If you go to the link above you will see the winners. I was so giddy about it. Hope you enjoy the rest of your Saturday. I am off to check the score of the ducks football game! Blessings Pam

Things!

Things I have had time to ponder this week! I love my things I do, but their just things. Things that matter to me this most as of late is my faith, relationships, slowing down, praying for peace and comfort for several members of my family, blogging friends etc.  As I get older I realize things are just things and health is more important. Taking care of one another through crisis big or small, lending an ear when needed, money when I can, etc. I guess what I am saying is I have enjoyed working less this week and reflecting on things in my life.. Hoping you have a wonderful day! Blessings Pam

A Little of This A Little of That!

My porch above is always in constant transformation. I love it. It is private from the street so it is kinda my own little sanctuary! I participated in our local Antiques in the streets this past weekend with the help of my sister in law Starla. Due to my surgery on Friday she offered to take some stuff for me. I sold some and some came back. I wasn't to sad to see some of it come back.

I love flowers of any kind. Thanks to my work for the flowers and my brothers that stopped by to check on me. I am doing well. Weak and tired but feeling better each day. Going a little stir crazy though. The weather has been so nice so its hard for me to be in.. I am just embracing the time of no work and having to get ready each day!

This little rack was a score I found at our local Habitat for Humanity for $4.00 I knew exactly what I was going to do with it. My family is amazed sometimes at what I bring into our home!
Last night I started making my little fall banners for myself and my sister. I tend to make them for each season. So easy!

My daughter installed Pic Stitch on my phone as I am not very computer savvy. I am having fun with these collages. I have enjoyed sitting spending time on instagram, facebook, (where I have been requesting many of my inspiring blogs,)pinterest etc. I have felt a little bit like a stalker..
Loving my little shabby pumpkins. I have enjoyed making them as gifts for my family. Today I will add burlap to some of them instead of this fabric paper... Well off to make some homemade laundry soap! Enjoy your day! Blessings Pam

More Fall Pictures!

Labor Day Fall/Back to School photo shoot! Londyn will be 5 January 30th! She started preschool this last week. So her mama and I decided to get some quick pictures! I was so happy with the way they turned out. She had three outfit changes(typical girl)! She is so photogenic! Of course I am a little partial! p.s. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. Surgery went well and I am resting even though it is so hard for me to sit still. I am looking forward to catching up on my blogs and adding a few more to my favorites. Enjoy your weekend. Blessings Pam

Fall Pumpkins/Fall Photo Shoot!

I love these pumpkins I started making. I cant take the credit for the idea and wish I would of wrote the ladies name that made them. I follow a group on facebook and saw them there. You could do so much with them, paint them blk, orange, tie colored ribbon to the top. I'm having a hard time finding more of these at the moment.

Added a  ladder to my new finds. Oh and to the cluttered mess in the corner. Starting Friday I will be off 10 days for my surgery and have a list of things I want to accomplish! De cluttering being one of them.

Today was Londyn's first day of preschool. My daughter and I took her out last evening and took some fall photo's. I think we did a great job if I do say so myself. This is two of 145! I am sure I will be sharing more soon. I cried when her mama took her in for her first day. She was super excited and didn't look back. Off to work. Blessings Pam
