Who Am I?

I am a woman that would do anything right now for my parents to be here with me! Today I would tell mom that my dentist appt went really well, that I am following through with what I am suppose to do! I would tell her how much Londyn misses her. She talked and looked at Grandma greats picture alot. I explained to her that you were not sick anymore and that you were in heaven. Today when I pulled in your driveway I so wanted you to come out like you always did and meet us at the car. I would of brought you hasty freeze peanut butter milkshake because you liked them. You would of told me you were almost out of laundry soap and I would of made you more.. I miss you mom so so much. You were my best friend in so many ways, my confident, my everything.. It has only been a little over a month.. It hurts and I just miss you! I pray that God gives me comfort and continues to give me dreams of you and dad.
Dad- I know your tired and ready to go home. I dont want you to suffer anymore.. I will miss you so very much. I will miss our visits, your jokes, you voice. I will miss you!!!
Who am I? I am a very blessed young grandmother that adores her granddaughter so so much. She brightens my day with just her smile, her voice, her love. I am a mother of two wonderful children who continue to amaze me with their love, compassion, grace! I am a wife to a husband 26years in May. I am always blessed each day by my friends and family. I am blessed with such faith. I have been very blessed with my travels and will be leaving in a little under two weeks for Israel.. My husband, children, grandchild will travel along with my sister, her husband, and their two grown children, and a niece. I can't wait to land there again. The peace a person feels by just landing there is amazing. We have a very busy agenda along with a huge wedding to attend.  I am truly blessed. Please pray for safe travel for us! And if you will say a prayer for my dad to find comfort and peace in the days ahead that would be greatly appreciated. Blessings Pam

I love it when:

My sister goes on a get rid of binge! Dropped off on my porch was this:
This cabinet is so cute. I have so many ideas. First being maybe taking the door and turning into a chalk door? Could take the door off and paint the inside and display stuff! Could take center of the door out and make a chicken wire screen. For now it will sit beside my bed for a collect all. Atleast until we get back from our vacation, more on that soon. Its a big one!!!

She sent a box of bottles and jars. Love them.
This old door is pink on the back.. So can be turned around different seasons. Missing the glass but that is okay with me!
Lace Vase birthday gift from my sister in law Starla. Cant see it but there is a little key tied to the front. So cute.
Found this little draw string bag at Bath and Body this past weekend for $3.00. So cute! Hope your enjoying your week so far. Have a great Tuesday! Blessings Pam

Well, if you have… I know you’ve been blessed by her amazing writing style, humor, and heart for the Lord. And if you don’t know her…today is the day to head over to her blog LIFE IN GRACE…and introduce yourself :)
Her blog is a place where she shares her love for decorating, cooking, family and homeschool.  When you dive into reading some of Edie’s posts, you will quickly realize that she is such a “woman encourager”!  Don’t we need to encourage each other, ladies? And when she saw that she just published her first E-Book…well she got it immediately.

Her E-Book, 31 Days to a Heart of Hospitality will “challenge your status quo” and explains “what it really means to be open and giving to others.”

Becky read through it in a couple of days because she just loved every word and couldn’t put it down :)
She shares so many ideas on organizing “user friendly” spaces in your home, such as a baking center and guest rooms. Her E-Book has over 100 gorgeous photos and she even shares her favorite recipes(you will want to make every single one) !!Yes, you can tell Edie has inspired Becky :) When she saw HER baking center (above), she thought, hey, I have one of those! And she got busy organizing her kitchen “hutch” into a baking station…
Becky will share more of her Baking Station soon…(She has been tweaking it)…

because today Edie is generously giving away her E-Book

A Dyi Project and Stuff!

I saw some great ideas over at http://www.funkyjunkinteriors.net/! One was for a window frame like this!
I just happen to have one in a corner somewhere. So today I decided to make this!
Had all my hair bows on my dress form. What better way to keep them all together.
Several months ago while Penny and I were shopping the local Blackberry Junction she bought be this spring above. I have had it tucked away for awhile not sure what to do with it. Thinking little clips with blk/wht photo's would be nice. Today I just put it up for now.

Put my new dough rising pan above on my cabinet. Cut some twigs from the tree out front, while mowing the yard. Neighbors must wonder what I am doing. At Christmas I cut pine needle branches off the shrubs on sidewalk for my kitchen windows.
Used some number tags I had sitting around and added to some bottles.
My new scarf that I won earlier in the week came already. I wore it yesterday. So many stares. I know it was the beautiful scarf.
It was wrapped in this lace heart with twine. Couldn't resist keeping it. Hope you all had a great weekend. I sure did. Need to get busy for our trip next month. Oh so much to do!!!! But for now I am off to rest. Blessings Pam

Be Still My Heart!

Yesterday being Valentine's Day came with alot of emotion. With the  passing of mom a little under 4 weeks this day came with some tears. She was about the little ones! My granddaugther her great would of received a gift from her. It would of went like this. Mom would of called me and said Stop by I have something for Londyn. I did not receive that call. The tears came. I miss her every moment. Any now Be Still my heart. This is what strikes some joy for me! Junkin!!!!! The heart above was .29cents at St. Vinnies!
I hit the local Restyle store and for $6.00 came home with a pile. My cart looked like I hit a flea market! Red bucket above reminds me of dad.
This silver pot was a huge find for me. I love it!
This light above I snagged the other day off a truck heading to the scrap metal salvage yard for free!
Heart sconces .49cents each. Burlap two pieces I will use for pillow cases for outside. $1.00
Little letters were .10each. I know I will find a use for them. Hanger a .25cent find.

The little things bring me such joy! The large silver bucket may find its way into the laundry room. Not sure yet. Hope you have a great weekend. Blessings Pam
