Will miss my girl!

Again posted twice. Sorry about that.
So cute anyways. This was taken for
gammy while I was gone last weekend.

Really using the spoon. Gammy worries about
the mess isnt that terrible. But she does a great
job. She is at that stage she wants to do everything
herself. Jordan and Londyn are staying home while
we go camping this weekend. I will miss her while I
am away. But looking forward to some sun and rest.
Maybe some rafting and bike riding. Hope to get lots
of pictures. Enjoy your weekend.
Just threw this one in. This was Penny and Wendy a good friend
at a Scentsy convention a couple of weekends ago. Think it is a
beautiful picture of both. Wendy planned Jordan's baby shower for
her and did a great job. Now she will be a grandma soon. Her
daughter is having a girl and naming her Bella. Cant wait to meet her.

Missing My Mama!

Sorry posted twice.

This is the view from my sisters condo! We truly had some
amazing weather.
Mom wasnt overly thrilled but she was a good sport. She
doesnt like to get her pics taken.

I truly admire, repect, love this mother of mine. She is an
amazing mother. I love her and find myself missing her every
night now. We laid in bed and held hands for awhile. I am even
tearing up a little just posting this blog.

Wish this one wasnt blurry!

She has always loved the coast. I am so glad we stayed for two
nights. Life gets so busy that we needed to catch up and all relax.

Wanted to get into this shop but never made it. We ate alot and
spent a good portion of the time just resting.

This place is on Hwy 101 and doesnt look like much but my
sister Teresa had been there before and said they had great
seafood. It looks kinda like a whole in the wall (her words)
but is 24hrs and was so good. If you get to Newport you should
give it a try.
Give me a pet or flower and I will snap a picture. I love the colors
of these.

Sure loved the moment. Can't wait to go back. Thanks sister
Teresa for again sharing your place with us. What a blessing.

Things I like

So this weekend my sister Teresa, penny and myself took
our mama to the coast for two nights. We actually thought
we may take her one night and bring her home but she did
really well. More pics to come of that trip. Any how I went to
the scrapstore in Newport of course and bought a few things
(some items were from earlier in the week.) Will I ever scrap
again. I continue to buy with the intent to use all my stuff every
last button and sticker of course.

When in doubt just put on porch. Running out of room just put
on porch. I need to paint the knobs maybe red?

Scrubbed the door and added a sign will change
for different seasons. Love the door!

Londyn's toy chest right at the moment but will use it someday
for blankets. When we were growing up and use to stay the night
at my sister Teresa who had kids our age she had a trunk and we
would go grab blankets at nighttime. I dont know why but that memory
stuck with me and made me want one of these.
I love birds! Londyn always walks by my birds
and says tweet tweet. I love this little bird so much
I had to buy my niece Kim one too for her birthday.

More bird stuff. I thought maybe if I put my cook book out
I might actually cook. Well it was a good idea I thought.
I am very tired and am heading to bed. What a wonderful weekend.
Turns out I am out of town every weekend this month. Next
weekend camping again and then the following one we are spending
with my sister again. Funny how nothing happens and then all at once.
Enjoy your week.

This girl is growing up!

Gammy was getting ready for work that morning. I love when
they get so involved in what they are doing. She likes to brush her
teeth but mostly feels like a big girl doing it herself.
She loves taking pictures with her momma.

Where did the time go? Now she is back to working
at potty training again We thought she was ready several
months ago when we bought her a big girl chair. But this week
she has went twice all by herself. She loves to be right in the
middle of what your doing and she loves to help out. She is a
great helper. She makes me smile all day long. I love her so
very much what more can I say!

Things That Inspire Me

I posted this once before but came across it again. I am now
looking for an old drawer to do this with. What a neat idea.

Nothing overly exciting just came across this when I was looking
at http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/!

I now have bought four of these in different sizes.
Cant wait to get busy and do something with them.

Thought this was a neat idea!

So I have a window pane that I am considering doing something
like this. Have never used the chalk paint but would love to hear
from anyone that has..

This is a neat idea to and would like to do black and white photo's
with one of these too. Okay just had to post something this evening.
My mind swirls with ideas and stuff I could do now if I would just do it.
Well it is midnight again. I swear my bedtime is later and later.

Free is a good price!

Okay most would look at this and say what the heck are
you going to do with this. I wandered my dad's property one day
and saw this door. I couldnt get it off my mind and thought of
several things I could do with it. So Sunday when I was there I
asked him what he was going to do with it and he said why do you want
it? He didnt even know where it came from so I loaded it up and there
it sits. I need to clean the dirt but will leave it the way it is. Thinking a
nail so I can hang a sign or wreath from it. I know Heidi, Penny and Brittany
can see the potential.

So this weekend was a very productive weekend for me.
Got the carpets cleaned again. Who would even think about
putting white carpets in. I organized all my scrap stuff,
cleaned my whole house, cleaned the garage and labeled alot of
stuff. Seriously dont think I sat down all day Saturday. Sunday
shared the 24hr carpet rental with Daelene. While the guys took that
project over we went and visited my parents. I got to see my great great
niece (pics to come), saw my sister Teresa and her daughter my niece
Sara, brought my door home. Finally got everything put back in place
Sunday evening. Oh cleaned my entire walk-in closet and gave a huge bag
of stuff to Mirah and Joelle, sent some house stuff to the Vintage Market,
Sent some of Londyns stuff to my niece Stephanie, have stuff to go to Kate
for her upcoming baby girl. Good weekend. But exhausting. At the end of
Sunday Penny dropped off a huge bag of fresh Lavender out of her front yard.
So Londyn and I seperated it for the bathrooms. It smells so good and didnt
cost a thing. Thanks Dad and Penny!

Until I get this link added to my blog please check her out. I love this store.
They make it fun just to stop in and get idea's and always have a smile on their
face.

Family Camping Trip

Dael and Joelle! This picture was taken for Rebecca who is
still in Israel so that explains the pout.

Josh's (Tracy's) Boys
Seth(left) Michael (middle) and Nathaniel

Doug's brother Terry Joe who was celebrating his birthday
while we were there. Also Melvin the dog. We had 6 dogs
there, it was fun to watch them run free and all get along.
I love this place. Hard Rock has become an annual event for
all of us. I love that it is right on the river. To hear the sound
at bedtime was so refreshing.
Two out of the six dogs. Sierra the big one is Penny's. Scruffy is our dog.

This trip meant alot that Sierra was able to go. She is about
12 and has not been doing well. Although she wasnt her normal
self she is part of the family and w/o her it would be sad.
My other dog Mitzie. She came home black and I took the
dogs straight out back for a bath before I would even let them
in.
I had never seen her so dirty. She had a blast.

At night Joelle would break out her guitar and sing for us.
She is truly amazing.

This was my lap on the way up there. Hard to see but we were loaded
down with no elbow space at all. Thanks goodness for Steve letting us
borrow the big duffle type bag for the top of the jeep. All for now. Still have
more camping pictures to post but the computer keeps freezing. I think
it is time for a new one actually this one is pretty old.

We do not remember days we remember moments!
