A Win and A Request!

A couple weeks ago I entered a giveaway for:

I was ever so delighted that Kate's husband picked me! I also thought it was cute that my sister who never comments left one to them saying that she loved the giveaway but would love to have me win!
Mr. Dior drew the lucky winner...

Pam Ballard from the blog
Moments like These
check it out at this link: http://www.salvagedior.com/2012/10/old-wood-love-and-our-winner.html
I am really excited about this win and cant wait to receive it.
So I have requested prayer for this family in the past and continue to do so. Shawna could really use some much needed relief from pain. This woman is so inspiring to me with her beauty and love for her family and her faith.. Please pray..

Hope you have a wonderful day! Blessings Pam

Catching up with Some Treasures!

A couple of weeks ago I won a wreath of choice. Custom wreaths by Meagan can be found
at her facebook page, or contacted at meaganstansbury@gmail .com. She was quick and awesome to work with. I love that it is so versatile.. I just hung it outside today after hanging it in the house because I was afraid it might get weather damaged or stolen. However I wanted people to be greeted with this great wreath.
I also won a 40.00 gift certificate from http://www.etsy.com/shop/tatteredgoods! I chose 5 flour tea towels.
They came this week also. It was like Christmas for me! I got two Give Thanks towels and gave one to Penny as I am thankful for her. I think I will display them on a vintage towel holder I got from my dads shop..
Couldnt pass up this burlap reuseable bag from Trader Joe's for $4.99
Little crow was a gift from my friend Mindy.. she added a cute crown to it. Showing my silverware as well. I have quite a collection including 50 dropped at my door Sunday from a friend. Imagine how excited I was. This is the right window.
This is the left Kitchen window. I love my white pitchers and creamers.

Angie over at http://knickoftimeinteriors.blogspot.com/ posted about mason jars and asked what people do with theirs? I find silverware works quite nicely..

Penny and I went to a dinner and some sweet customers house last week and I said I loved their rooster beer opener and they gave it to me. I was honored. It was his great aunts from the 1930's. Thanks for looking. I feel truly blessed each and every day. Blessings Pam

A Naturally Wonderful Giveaway!

Amy over at http://kinserhome.blogspot.com/ is hosting a great giveaway. Here is what she had to say about it. I love using natural and organic beauty products when possible and am thrilled to have found another resource to purchase some of these items rather than at an expensive health food or grocery store. I love to support smaller businesses who are trying to provide better choices for us and that’s what I believe this company is doing.
Their site has some amazing products. http://www.econaturalsoap.com/! Head on over to Amys site above for all the details. A winner will be chosen on the first day of November. Blessings Pam

Owls Are In!

Have you noticed that owls are everywhere.. Do you ever wonder how something like this gets started.. I do! Years ago my dad had candle molds and the top one is one that he made. The little one is a gift from my sister yesterday. Thanks Pen!

So I have a little of my dad in me. I just have a hard time throwing things out. This candy machine was in his shop and my brother found it in some rubble and was going to scrap it but I said let me see if I can do anything with it. Any ideas. I tried an electric toothbrush with baking soda and got a little off. I thought how cute it would be with candy corn in it.
Fan was another get rid of from Penny and of course it came home with me.
Penny bought a pair of chickens and of course like we always do being twins we split them.
Perfect scentsy for fall dont you think?
This will make two typewriters for me. I love them. Kinda a heavy piece to collect.

Okay on to this yellow laundry basket. I love it. Didn't really have room for it but I just needed it. I love the rack on the bottom. I almost put it in my kitchen for my recyclables because I am really in that mode right now. But thought it looked funny.  My son Noah flew to Arizona this morning for the Duck football game. Hoping he is having a great time. Sure by now he has had a few to many drinks so I will wait to hear from him. We lost a dear family friend yesterday. RIP Papa Bill. You will be greatly missed here. Blessings Pam

A Weekend about Londyn!

The picture above is one during the summer. I adore this one.
Yesterday she had a birthday party for her friend Reece. It was a princess tea party. So glad I made the effort to go as she had so much fun. Not so long ago my kids were this age and I remember doing all these things with them. Now it has moved on to the granddaughter.

Today her momma and I decided to try and beat the rain that was predicted around 1:00. We made it, again so glad I made the effort as I thought a pajama day would be nice. Gammy and Londyn pictures. Jordan sent these too me from her email so I assume she didnt care for her pictures..

The petting zoo consisted of these cute little pigs(sign said they may bite) and two billy goats.. But they were sure cute.

This place was in Jefferson and all pumpkins were a $1.00 unless over 35lbs, we came home with like 7 pumpkins. I thought today how good god is to me. It rained a like an hour later. When we went to Costco where we drove around looking for a space and one pulled out right in front. Sometimes its the small things that you reconize! Blessings Pam
