I love my Blog!

I love my Blog.. It inspires me each day to look at blogs and get great ideas, enter drawings and dream of one day having a buisness of junkin! Yes that is what I want to do.. I started this blog with the idea of posting my scrap layouts and keeping a daily journal, which for the most part I think I do the daily journal thing but the scrapping not so much. Not that I dont do it. I have been working on another book which I am starting to love. I go in my scraproom several times a day and add something. I will share the book soon. Anyways wanted to mention another giveaway:

Loving my dress form

I love Diana! I was going to say I love playing with her but then I realized how wierd that might sound.
But she is fun. I am looking for a vintage dress or something to dress her in.
I am loving my linen pillow covers. I have two white lace ruffled ones in the works. Brittany made two for Penny and of course I want some. She painted Penny's fireplace and a cabinet in the white shabby look. I cant wait to share some pics soon of them.
This bench was on my front porch but I moved it upstairs for winter. I hesitated leaving it on the porch to
get weathered. I also hope to share pics soon of Jonah's senior pictures. I was honored when asked if I would take his pictures. We had fun and am very impressed with myself at how they turned out. Now I have another request for taking another seniors pictures. Maybe I have a new calling.
I am thinking of my family this evening as my Uncles funeral is Saturday in North Platte Nebraska. I know my mom would love to be there for it and see her family. Rest in Peace Uncle Charles. You will be missed here on earth. Blessings this early morning. Pam

Started in the inside for Fall

Someone commented on my blog that this box would be cute as a remote control box so that is what I did with it. Pulled dried flowers out of my bouquet and used as decorations.

Penny was getting rid of this straw hat the other day so I grabbed it up.

Thanks Tom for the burlap. Have lots in mind for this! Just need more time. Off to the parents shortly.
Enjoy your evening. Pam

Fall Porch

Bench was $5.00 over the summer at a garage sale. Twigs came from my moms. Thanks Bev
for the crow. I love it.
Had this rocker in my bedroom and everytime you sat in it, it fell apart. So just as I was getting ready
to get rid of it I thought of this!

Now on to this pigeon crate. I love it! I saw it one day while over at my parents. So Saturday I stopped
and asked them if I could borrow it. They think I have lost my mind. They dont know what to do with me.
I am asking to go cut twigs, asking for old wood in the wood pile, bringing junk home. But to me it is a
treasure. I am going to add mini pumpkins inside and have since removed the yellow flower. I added a candle lamp. Straw was $2.00 at Grandpa's produce stand. As I was decorating Sunday in the hot heat I
couldn't help but wonder if it was to soon. And then it rained! Have a great Day! Pam

Welcoming Fall!

Well yesterday was a day of looking! I wanted to get in the mood for fall and get some ideas for Fall. What better way than to go to my favorite seasonal shops. First was the new location of Blackberry Junction. I love the new place. It is on Water Street. A very old warehouse. There seems to be so much more room.

This was right outside~ Couldn't help but think I wish Londyn was with us as she would of loved this.
These were so pretty. Picture doesn't really show how pretty they were.

 Loved this mini door cabinet.
Love this dress form. Gave me ideas for mine..
Now if Doug wouldn't of been with me I probably would of figured out how to bring this home. It was only $45.00 dollars. I could of put something in it I just know it. Added metal numbers to the front.
But he thought I was crazy to want it and had to say where would you put it.
As I stood back talking to a friend he waited at the entrance for me. Penny was busy but she is normally my pal around person that goes to these places with me! Overall he was a good sport I guess!
On to the next~ The Vintage Roost!

It doesn't seem to matter how many times these last few years I have been to the Vintage Roost,
it always seems like the first time for me. The walk down the driveway in each season is magical for
me. Debbie is a real neat lady and even if you dont buy anything she is always so welcoming. I got some
wonderful ideas from both places and realize how much of the stuff I already have.. I did manage to get
my front porch decorated for fall. Although today was such a sunny and warm day I must of looked silly
out there decorating with straw and scarecrows..
p.s. my thoughts are with my mama today. My uncle Charles is gravely ill and has been moved to a room
removed from all machines and is resting comfortably. Hospice has been called. I know how extremly hard this is for mom. I am blessed to have been able to go with my mom her last trip to Nebraska 4 or 5 years ago to see the family again and stay with my Uncle Charles who lived in my grandma's house. I am praying for him and all our family back there. I dont believe my mom would make a trip back there again due to my dad and her condition. She will be starting her second round of radiation next week. Mom when you read this. I love you so very much...
Okay enjoy your Sunday and maybe later I will post my porch... Blessings Pam
