Happy New Years! Word for 2015!

Just Be! I chose Just Be for my word for the New Year. I pondered several words this year and this one came to me over and over.
The meaning to Just Be: “It’s about the dedicated practice of felt awareness and gratitude to the present moment for the purpose of living well and in joy.”
So perfect for me! I am happy just to be right now. Just be happy, Just be thankful, Just be hopeful for the future, just be loved, respected and liked, just be who I am.
This year I turn 43 and I am at the point in my life that I rejoice in my happy, healthy life. I recognize what all God gives me, what all I have been through, and what all I have. I look forward to The New Year and what it has to offer. My hope for you is the same. Gods Blessings today, tomorrow and always. Blessings Pam

Merry Christmas!

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas. May you be healthy, happy, and blessed in 2015!
My granddaughter Londyn and her step brother Tison. She adores her big brother. We went to Storybook Land and he asked if he could call me grandma? She said call her gammy. Love them.
My daughter had this pic above blown up for me for Christmas. I love it!

My son Noah and I! I must say I sure see a resemblance in the two of us. Do you? He is a kind soul.
I am so very blessed for both my children. (not pictured is my daughter Jordan). She has the most giving soul. She reminds me of my mom in that department. We enjoyed our little family over last evening for dinner and a small gift exchange. Today they will come over later for another dinner and another gift exchange. God Bless you all. Pam

Are You Ready?

Are you ready for Christmas. I don't think I ever am until Christmas Eve. Every year I say I will get started earlier and every year I am out the day before finishing up.
My jolly banner was just found the other day. My 1 2 3 candle display has tipped over several times.
I do like however what I did with my cake stand. I love the colors I picked to put in there.
I found these cute little matchsticks on my second return to The Vintage Roost. They are going to go well with the candles I am giving as gifts. The clove box is a gift also.
I managed to craft one evening and made a few simple cards. I saw this idea on instagram and thought I could do that. The fun part was my granddaughter and I did it together.
I want to wish you all A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Gods Blessings! Pam

The Vintage Roost!

I love this place so much. Each time I visit no matter what season I am blown away. It is so magical there. Gets me into the spirit. Debbie is so friendly and easy going, not pushy but inviting and always greets with such a smile.

After posting these pictures I think I may just head up there in a few. Once last time before Christmas. Blessings Pam

Instagram took over!

Well I must say Instagram has taken over at the moment. I seem to spend most of my time there. I realize how much I miss my blog though. I vow to get back to posting daily if not weekly. Christmas is coming and I am so not ready. Life is extremely busy with some exciting things going on. I am praying for all my dreams to come true soon. Praying but know God is in control so am just relying on him at the moment. I am extremely blessed by all my family, friends, and the instagram and blogging family I have gained this past year. Had to share my instagram win of my my Londyn my saving grace necklace from eclecticorchid. She does amazing work. Check her out at www.eclecticorchid.com Blessings Pam

Enjoying some home time!

I was so ready for this weekend. I have enjoyed some much needed time at home doing what I love and digging treasures out and rearranging. I dug out my grandmothers afghan. I love it in the fall.
I have a thing for this old ladder it is broken and worn but I love it and always find a place for it.

This is a fun inspiration board I have in my office. I love hanging little bits of treasures on it. Cards from blogging friends mostly. My beautiful mother makes me smile each time I see her.
I am sure thankful for the small pleasures. This weekend we have our granddaughter Londyn as we sent our daughter to the coast for her 24th birthday. Where does the time go? Hoping she has a wonderful time as we will enjoying the moments and time with Londyn. Blessings Pam

Trying to Balance!

With my hours at work doubling the last few weeks I have come to realize I need to just find a happy balance. I miss the little things and have come to appreciate what once was. I know I will get it all done and will pull myself together. I just miss the fun I use to have playing house, doing my blog, and playing on my phone. Silly I know but the little things make me so happy. This little owl was in my trunk and missed Halloween all together. But I love him anyways and for now he will sit on my shelf and make me happy.
This purse was a gift from my sis and sat on the floor in a bag for over a week. Drove me crazy but everyday I came home too tired. Finally got some energy and got things done tonight. I feel good.

Did an overhaul on my bedroom and dusted and cleaned. This lamp finally came together after months of sitting around. I hung it in my bedroom. I love it. Like I said need to find the balance. Hope your having a good November. Time flies. I am blessed by my instagram friends, blogging friends, family. Well just plain blessed. Blessings Pam

Where has October gone?

Wow I can't believe October is almost gone. We have had a great month. Pumpkin patch, Disney on Ice, weekend adventures, duck football parties. Last weekend was a downtown trick or treat. I was able to take my granddaughter and we had a lot of fun.

I won this Live Simply sign on instagram. I love it and am trying to live by it as of late. I have been selling some stuff in the house, clearing out a bit. Now we all know what that means right? Room for more!!! Just need to find the time to shop! Hope you have a wonderful day. Blessings Pam

Adding a little fall!

I finally finished my wreath. I have been wanting to make one for sometime. I have been collecting things throughout the weeks. I love it and was kinda giddy about it. I am gifting it to my daughter. She doesn't always get my shabby decorating and very seldom takes things I offer her. She asked me to make her one and I am happy to give her this one.
I haven't had much time lately in the house. We have had such a nice fall so far with highs in the 80's. It is hard to be inside. I have started slowly and can hope I am done before fall is over. Tomorrow we are going to a cool pumpkin patch and I hope to get some fall pics done. Hope your enjoying your fall as much as I am. Blessings Pam

This melted my heart!

While visiting a local fall shabby sale my sis and I ran across this pigeon crate. We were in awe as it was my dads. He passed in 2013! I wonder who had it and the story behind it when they bought it from him. He raced pigeons for many many years. The memories I have as a child driving with him and releasing pigeons is one that I will never forget. His name was Harlo. This was his way of marking things or he would use green spray paint. We couldn't leave it there. It is now residing on my porch.
Some other treasures from my parents place. Deer horns, you can never have to many these days. This old box had to come home with me. My mom had old records in it for many years.

I realized the other day I have a thing for pillows. All shapes, sizes and even color. My bed takes about ten minutes just to get in at night lol.
You wont believe this but I had never been to World Market until a couple weeks ago. I have since been back twice now. I came home with these treasures. Oh my their prices are incredible. Hoping to get some fall decorating done this weekend. Time flies by. I cant believe it is October already. Have a wonderful day. The sun shines here! Blessings.  Pam

Fall is Near!

I have started a little decorating for fall. We have had some real nice weather and this weekend back up in the 90's!
I received some nice gifts from my daughter from Hawaii. Also this nice owl mug from a friend. I was spoiled. I love the believe necklace also.

Found this dear at Ross. I couldn't pass it up. Thinking of painting white but for now leaving it alone. Trying to figure out what to hang from the antlers.
Picked my granddaughter up for school yesterday. She was dancing and spinning in her front yard.  Doesn't get much better than this on a cool morning. Just wanted to give a quick hello and I appreciate your patience for my lack of blogging lately. Summer was good to me. Blessings Pam
