Update on my dad!

My dad came home from the hospital. He is recovering and it has brought alot of changes.
We are adjusting the best we can and will continue to be assisting them the best we can. I
appreciate the prayers and concerns for my parents.  This will also be pulling me away from my
blogging as much and creating. Hope to share some stuff soon. Pam

Finally opened my Gift!

I was surprised to see a bag! I was thinking it was a pillow case. So I was happy either way and
for that matter you can use them either way to. I had the bag to the left as a pillow case for awhile.
You can also cut the straps and tie together but who would want to do that. Love it.
Here is a couple of other inspiration bags I like as well. I have been looking for Penny I know she
wants one and would like Brittany to make her one.
Keep in mind if you need anything repainted, redone or looking for that right pillow covering,
chair pad you can look her up on :

Oh and back to the bags that I was going to share:

I love them both.. My problem as I want to hang them and not use them. Silly huh?

Update on my dad: Having a little uneasy feeling and anxiety this evening about it but I know it is the best
for him. He will be sent to a facility/nursing home tomorrow for physical therapy. They said two weeks or
so. I just wish he could go home where he wants to go. Mom cannot care for him and we all dont know what to do for him. So I guess we all will be visiting him alot. He is in good spirits and enjoyed a visit from
both Noah and Jordan and myself today. He is loved by the nurses. He is sure getting softer though the years. He is still having trouble with the left side. Can't feel soft touches but can feel needle like pokes.
Thanks again for the well wishes. Enjoy your evening. Pam

Shop Your House!

So when your bored shop your house. Move things around it is fun.

This dresser was down in my dining room as a buffet. I really liked it there but was kinda bored and
thought it would look good in my room so away I went like a crazy woman.
Moved things around like the lights in the corner.
Love the old basket filled with all my pillows.
This dresser was in my room and I thought it would look good as a buffet down stairs.
I kinda like how it turned out.

It actually lets more light in during the day.

These two ironstone bowls are from England going to go great with my white dishes.
Couldn't find these blue mason jars when I wanted them I got the tall one for .29cents.
The little ones have eagles on them.  Penny and I split the jars.
Tiny white bowls perfect for mustard or sauces.

I have wanted one of these coffee filter wreaths for sometime. So Brittany and I traded stuff.
In these hard times trading comes in handy.

Had to take a picture of the tag that was on the wreath. These are Brittany's new tags. So Cute.
Another talented pillow cover made by Brittany. I love the flower. I guess we kinda traded for
it too. My dad had a willow tree that had fallen a few months back so Thursday we went over and
climbed a fallen tree to get willow branches. They will look so cute somewhere in my home.
Makes me want to do blue in my home somewhere.
Sometimes I get so proud of myself. Tonight I painted a wicker backet and used modge podge
on a collection sign tied it on with ribbon. It sits by my stairs with stuff waiting to come upstairs.
Picture to come later. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Pam

Thank you and Quick update

I hope to post later so check back for a fun post of shopping my home and rearranging!
Again this is my personal diary and so I wanted to note to self but also be able to share an update
on my parents. I have had several calls, emails, and text today on the update of my dad. I want to thank
you all for your good thoughts and prayers. As most already know my mom found him on the floor
yesterday am he was taken by ambulance to the hospital where they determined he had had a minor
heart attack and a major stroke. Today he is showing remarkable improvements and is able to talk
and is alert, has been given a soft food diet. His left side and vision was affected but is showing great
improvement as well. As I was at the hospital I ran into several customers, friends and even a local
buisness man who knew dad and was going to go in and check on him. I have faith and know that prayers work. Please continue to keep my parents in your prayers. Okay on a  better and positive note my pillow
case I won came in the mail today but it is wrapped so cute I dont want to open it. I will share pics when
I decide to do so. But check back later as I do plan to post. Pam
