Shabby Love!

Hit the Goodwill the other day and came across these shabby pillow cases and ticking apron. That was it but I was happy!
Found a place to put this old trunk from my parents. I have three now! Think that might be all I can fit.
Two little creamers also. I love old dishes.
Added some flowers to the apron. So fun to do dyi projects.

Liked this candle sconce. Thought how cute it would look painted white, add a chain and some burlap and hang on the porch. Spray paint can sure make a difference. Getting my groove back and feeling creative. Hope you have a great weekend. Glad it is Friday. Heading to Buffalo Wild Wings tonight for dinner with the kids! A girls night out tomorrow night! Hopefully some sales in the morning. Blessings Pam

My newest follower and some more treasures!

http://cocointeriorsandfloraldesign.blogspot.com/ just started following me yesterday. I am so glad she did. She is so right up my alley! Anyways go check her out if you get the time. You can also find her on my sidebar with a list of my favorites.
My goodies came today from http://mustlovejunk.blogspot.com/! I was so excited to get my mail today. Thanks Susan!
This bottle is so cute and looks great in my bedroom.
My necklace is so cute too! http://www.etsy.com/shop/recycledchick sent this necklace as well! You can always check out her blog as well. http://www.recycledchick.blogspot.com/!

This wood piece came from my parents. It was dark, I spray painted it white and put a new wreath that my sister got me yesterday for feeling a little under the weather.

She also gave me this cute little cup and saucer that I thought would look cute sitting on my bed tray! I spent the day off going to doctors appts, cleaning up my 3000 plus emails in my inbox on my desktop, which took like three hours. Since I check my phone for emails they sure build up on here. Got some much needed filing and paperwork done. A feel good day! Blessings Pam

Shabby/Vintage Come Together!

Changed my white bedspread to a shabby comforter from Target!
Moved things around in the living room a bit! Love the horns I got from my dad's!
Turned my window around for some color. I like this side as the other side was white. Thinking of adding a little knob to it!

Lots of mixed match dishes. I cant help myself. I have no where for them but I am thinking of adding some to a white table outside for fun.
I love this old aqua wood box and look what happen to be in it! Oh how I love vintage bulbs. So I am shabby with a little vintage these days! Hope you enjoy your weekend. I am working Father's Day! People say this being the first day w/o your dad must be hard, but truth is all days are hard. I get through them one day at a time. Blessings Pam

It all started with:

It all started with bringing more  home from the parents and power washing the front porch! I moved everything into the front yard, which was fun to take the time to rearrange! This dresser came home with me and since I have no where for it in the house I thought why not put it on porch.
Before picture above I was blocking the walkway to the hose. I thought how cute it would be to make this little corner something cute. I hope to get a fresh load of bark dust for it. Still need to find place for two trunks.

I love this linen apron which I stretched to make it work around the sink. I thought I was so clever!
I love how it turned out. The dresser also lets me store things in it!

Oops day bed pictured twice but anyways I dug it out of the closet yesterday!

This wheel was dug out of the ground at my parents property. They had two acres and its amazing what is out there. I have two gates to bring home and two little red barn doors.

This crown was in my moms kitchen on a shelf. It was silver. Sat there for months and when nobody claimed it I brought it home and painted it and added bling. I love how it turned out. More treasures to share another day. The sale at my parents was so much work. Three hours putting things out and then over three boxing up what didn't sell. It was exhausting and we are all glad it is over. Enjoyed the day with family and soaked up the sun while working the sale. Hope you all have a great week! Blessings! Pam

This weekend is in full bloom!

This chalkboard greets you when you come in to our home!
This weekend is off to a busy start already. Scruffs is doing okay and off to the groomers very early this morning. I'm headed to work and than over to my parents place which we call the homestead now! We are preparing for big sale tomorrow. Tomorrow bright and early will head over there all day! Where I will see all 5 of my siblings.

This mailbox I salvaged out of the scrap pile at their home. I painted it white! Thinking this column should be painted too! Anyways the summer is starting off in full bloom. Hope you enjoy your weekend. I hope to power wash the porch Sunday and rearrange. I have lots of ideas in my head. I wonder what will come home with me tomorrow! Blessings Pam

Two Posts in One Day!

Little box I salvaged from the burn pile at the parents. My brother said please take it! It has a cute latch for locking. I think I may open the lid and put flowers in!

 Filling the cabinet with memento's!
Old frame was hanging upstairs at my parents. It had a broken glass and very old pictures in it. The back was all bowed! I took it to a local frame shop and had it fixed and cleaned. They put new hooks in for hanging, boards in the back also. Now I just need some photos! Thought about putting a chalkboard in the middle!
Trying to add more of my stuff to the back yard so my front porch doesnt look so crowded!
Love baskets. I added the #5 to it! Not sure why the number 5?

My sister gave up her burlap chair so now I have a pair.
A little over kill here thinking of storing some what nots for a bit.

Couldnt resist this old map. Now to find a place for it in the office.

I love old aprons. Washed and now need to starch and iron. Add that to the list of many.
Now on to the exciting part. I entered a giveaway over at http://www.deannario.com/! If you havent checked her out you must do so. I love her blog. It truly inspires me! It was for the dress picture above from http://www.shabbyapple.com/! I won! She offered me a list of dresses. I am waiting to find out if the one I chose is available. I love their style and was so so excited to win. Thanks to them both. Have I told you how truly blessed I am?
For those of you local that read my blog we are going to be having a huge sale possibly this weekend at my parents home! There is so much stuff. Great prices! Have a great evening.. Blessings Pam
