Added some luggage that my mom gave me to my pile.. Already had some! Not sure where it is going probably in my bedroom. Still not quite settled. Have yet to hang anything. There hasn't been a day when my car wasn't heading to Goodwill with a load or to my booth with stuff I didn't have room for.. or giving to my daughter and granddaughter or sister!
Birdcage above was a trade from Angie at my booth.. She is next to me and had something I had and traded me this birdcage. Worked well for me.. It was unpainted and so I spray painted it white. Love how it turned out..
I mentioned to my mom that I would like to have a flag my dad flew on the flag pole, it is a special memory I have with him. I remember walking out the morning of holidays and hanging the flag.. I am going to treasure these... I have started tagging the things my mom has given to me with the date so I never forget where they came from...
Love the lampshade covered with burlap. Made by a vendor at the Not to Shabby store..
Linens my mom gave me that were made by her mother...
This flower sack I found today at our local antique mall. It was clearanced for 3.50! I was going to put a pillow in it but then I had this idea. What about a cover for this industrial stool that came from my moms..
My friend Brittany is going to help me with it soon.. As soon as she is done with her class.
I got this set of white shabby chic Rachel Ashwell sheets from Target several months ago with a gift card I won. They have been in the closet as I didnt want to use them.. Silly huh.. I decided I would go ahead today and add them to my bed..
Still a work in progess. Again I have yet to hang anything on the walls yet.. I have a mantle I dont know where to put yet.. I can't believe we have been here a month and still working on it.. I am plain tired..
If I had to weigh in on this subject I would say: A work in progress that will continue to change along with lots of changes coming my way... Summer is flying by and I havent even really got to enjoy most of it... A trip to the coast, a couple bbq's, a few get togethers, several evenings spent with my mom.. a few great visits with my dad, a move for us, a move for my daughter and a move for my parents.. Busy Busy Busy.. Hope you enjoy your week. Blessings Pam

Dont know when to Stop!!
My porch, I don't know when to stop. Is it to much? I just love it.. I use to have a porch that people drove by just to see how I arranged it for the seasons... Now this one is private but I love it anyways.. The blanket above was my grandmothers.. As some of you know we are dealing with putting my parents in assisted living.. It is hard emotionally and physically as they have so much to be done. Anyways my mom said she was just going to take to goodwill. Um of course it had to come home with me. It is full of holes but I love it.
This crib day bed is old and metal.. I just don't know what to do with it. I have downsized in this move but I cant get myself to part with it. So for now during summer it will stay on the porch along with every other thing. To Much?
This piece above all so came out of my parents and I know I can incorporate it into something I do! Mom says just dont get rid of anything before offering it to another family member. I dont think I will get rid of anything that comes from them.. Except maybe for every stuffed animal, picture, school paper mom kept, (just kiddin mom). She even saved my cabbage patch doll never opened from when I was little. I remember her saying it will be worth something someday!
Cant seem to get my kitchen counter cleared off I just keep finding more stuff to unpack. This old strainer came from the Rustic Frills barn event I went to a couple days ago. Rusty and crusty as I say and only $3.00
This was my dad's camera out of his office. I will treasure it forever.. I really did aquire their attitude of if it is free take it and someday it will be worth something. The motto someone elses trash is anothers treasure. I do love my things but my memories and relationships are so much more important.. I will cherish the old ones and the new ones with the changes going on.. Blessings Pam

Girls Just Want to Have Fun!
My beautiful daughter Jordan... I had a customer today ask me why I dont share more family photo's.. I realized that I really dont much anymore and feel like most want to see the fun decorating stuff. I am reminded again that this is my personal diary as well and it is fun to look back on these photos..
My granddaughter is such a ham.. She loves to pose for the camera... But living with the mama and Auntie Lacey she learns from the best...
Auntie Lacey and Londyn pictured above..
Summer get togethers are always fun! Tomorrow night we are off to another one... Hope you have a great weekend.. Enjoy the moment as I will do the same!!!!! Blessings Pam

Rustic Frill Finds and Others!!
I was so excited to get the chance to take the day off and go to Rustic Frills Barn event. I went last year and couldnt wait for this year.... I hear they are one of the newest vendors in the Not to Shabby Store. I couldnt be more excited..
This burlap stool/stand came home with me. I was going to put it at the foot of my bed with shoes on the bottom but it landed at the bar in the kitchen for now.. I love it!! Its rusty and crusty on the bottom.. Which I love also!
This pot and these clocks were in the salvage pile my nephew was going to scrap.. Um I think not! It rained last night so I hope they dry out... I am in Love!
This one has so much patina! I cleaned them up and am hoping they dry.. My parents had a fire at one time and I have to wonder if this one went through it!
Can you believe they were heading away or was just going to sit in a pile of rust..
Score Score Score Score Score Score Score Score Score Score Score Score!!!!!!!
Cleaned up the pot too. It has some holes but will look great outside with a plant or something..
Since moving I have taken several items to my booth at Not to Shabby which opens some space for some more!!! Hope you have a great evening. Blessings Pam
