A few of my scores this past weekend!

The gate above I picked up last week. I love the shabby thing going on. Its paint is chipping and its a little rusty, just the way I like it.
Picked up the little white medicine cabinet also. Haven't figured out where its going yet. The wreath is what I made for fall. However I am going to throw some Red in it for Christmas. It is my favorite color.
While shopping the local shabby barn last weekend my sister picked up a stack of books. I said I could make you one. I told her to spend her money on something else. I came home and put this stack together. What was special about it is it was books of our mothers. So she can really treasure it.
Having a phone handy all the time makes it easy for me to take collages of my home. It is fun and I enjoy my instagram for it.
I came across the picture of my mama while uploading for this post. This was a few weeks before she passed. We were going through her personal belongings and came across her dads railroad hat. We laughed and had a great time. I miss her so so much. What a great memory to treasure. Now I think I need to locate this hat. Hope you all have a wonderful day. Blessings Pam

  1. I love your gate find.

That's so sweet of you to make that stack of your mother's books for your sister. We miss our loved ones most during the holidays. I'm sorry for your loss.

My father had a railway hat of his father's, now I wonder if he still has it. My grandfather worked on the railroad.

    Have a nice weekend!

Thank you for sharing your beauty over at my place that inspired bread boards and wire crowns.
