Seriously

I noticed this one lost the I for I am Kate. I love how this one
turned out. The flower on the right was cute out and took an
hour or so it seemed.

Summer fun year before last. She was blonde then.

Good times.

Seriously this one took all day to do. I kept having to leave

my chair and come back to it. They just dont do justice on here.

I love the pinks and blacks.

She is so fun to scrap.

Well back to work tomorrow. Time to clean up my scrap space.

Some more layouts

I know I have a slideshow but have been told that on some
that they dont come through so I thought I would still post
them as I add them to my slide. This is Lucy a little girl of
my friend Kate. I loved this pic so much I did two layouts.

I love this picture of my mom and I.

I love the pink and orange colors together. I wish you could

see this layout better. I really like the way it turned out.

Having a good weekend. I stayed home all day and got some

projects done around the house. Spent most of the day with

Londyn. We were given a walker last night from Joanna.

Thanks Starla for getting it to us. She sat in it today for a short

time. She might be teething a little bit. She has had a mild temp

and drooling alot, plus the hot weather doesn't help much. We had

a nice dinner outside last night at Valentino's in North Albany.

Found this chair/bench next to nothing at a garage sale.

Not sure where to put it yet but I really like it. Think I will

stay clear of garage sales this weekend. I really need to focus

on the weeds in the back yard. So much to do and so little time.

Said goodbye to the ladies yesterday at The Berry Basket. They

were so good to Penny and I and we will truly miss them. They

read my blog and promise to comment once in a while.

I have several birthday's coming up this next week. My niece Sara,

brother Jim, brother in law Greg, brother in law Harry, newphew Tory.

Anyone else I might be forgetting. Hope everyone enjoys their weekend.

Uncle Noah

Londyn loves her uncle Noah. Who doesn't. This is her laying

in front of the tele watching nursery ryhmes. She loves them

Who knew at such a little age they would be t.v. watchers.

Now dont worry we dont leave her there for two long we dont

want her to get addicted. We bought her first rice cereal on Mon

May 25th and gave her some on the 26th. She wasn't really

that impressed. She has been rolling over back and forth now

for several days. She went and visited her great grandpa and

grandma yesterday. They always smile ear to ear when they see

her coming. I need to remember the camera. My dad got a kick

out of her holding his hand. She is getting really noisy lately as well.

She graduated from her cradle to crib however she has yet to sleep

in her crib yet. But it sure is pretty all dressed up in pinks and browns.

So I went to Penny's and

looked at my blog at her house. It sure looks different from someone elses

computer for instance the pics I post from here dont look that big. I can

change them but I think it is nice for some of the older viewers I have. I wont

mention names. I sure am having fun with it. It is getting full of stuff though

isnt it. That is how I roll I go full force into something. I will be taking pics of

my older layouts soon and posting to my slide.

At 70%off who could refuse. I collect birdhouses.

This birdbath came from my dad's buisness. I love it.

I love my stand on my porch. I have had it for years. It is

weathered but I love it.

If only the grass could stay so green.

Two weekends in a row (Sliver Creek Falls)

This was last weekend without the backpack and packing her
in the stroller or holding her when we couldn't push the
stroller. The second weekend we got smarter.

Money well spent. Ross $12.99 for back pack. She didn't fuss

one bit. Lot easier today. Not as warm as last weekend. But

a little easier on my body the second time around. We packed

lots of food that we didnt need. We went to Baha Fresh for dinner.

Brought to my attention that I had never posted a pic of my

husband/grandpa to Londyn. Sorry bout that. You can find

him with londyn in hand most of the time. Lots more pics to

post later. Having trouble posting more than five at a time.

I miss girl time

The top pic is of us last year in Eugene at a special class and
we got to shop at the boutique in the garage. It was alot of fun.
Lisa and I stayed two nights there. Oh and Lisa I still owe you
half for the ticket we got. hehe Actually it was just a parking
ticket but still next time we see each other lunch will be on me.



Seriously I need to get out more. This was my first trip to
Trader Joe's. We had fun.

We spent the afternoon at Saturday Market and had a great

time.

I miss the scrapyard days. Where we all got together and had

girl time and scraptime. I did talk to Kate this morning and we

might hit a couple of sales this weekend. Lisa I hope we will catch

up soon. Anyone interested in the crop in Eugene it is coming up

again in June. Was hoping to go but doesn' t look like it.

This is how I feel today. I wonder if I could

still sit on my mom's lap and cry. No not really.

Just a busy day at work, rushed home and to the

grocery store for dinner and now the clean up begins.

Londyn wore her first pair of jeans today. She looked

so cute. She is rolling on her side now.

Long Post

Well I was hoping to show pictures of all my wonderful finds yesterday at the garage sales that Penny, Starla and I went to but I didn't think you would be interested in seeing the wardrobe that we got for Londyn. She made out like a bandit. She also got a couple of toys. I was looking for a walker and highchair but didn't find that. We headed out at 7:30am and didn't get done until 5:00. We enjoyed the company and caught up on family life. I also ran into my friend Kate, Catherine, and Shanna. It was nice to see all of them. I did find some musical sheets and poems for my scrapbooking from 1941. That made my day. These are some pics of things in my home that make me happy. The top one is of a candle holder that my friend Susanne gave me. The second one is a antique radio that was my parent in laws.

I will be sharing pics later of our trip today to Silver Creek Falls. It was so nice to getaway. Very crowded but not to hot. I realized I am out of shape though. Those hikes are exhausting and we found out that we need a baby backpack. My advice is to not take a stroller with you. We ended up taking her out and held her most of the way. Which meant we carried the stoller all the way. She was a trooper. I also realized I still have a thing with heights. I get really anxious. Noah reminded me that he is a grown man now and that I dont need to tell him to hold onto the bars. Well off to watch Marley and Me and I hear I am in for a good cry. Enjoy your evening.

She grows

She is doing so much stuff right now. She is alot of fun. It is really hard to get anything done.

She grabs your attention and you just hang to her like a magnet. Last night she took the binkie out of her mouth and then tried to put it back in. She is starting to talk alot, I mean make noise and giggle. She is gone right now with her mommy and we are just lost w/o her. We are so blessed because most grandparents dont get them 24/7!!!

Wanted to give a shout out to my friend Bobbie. I saw her yesterday at Izzy's. She use to come into the scrapstores I worked at. She was a great customer. I haven't seen her for awhile and was glad to get a chance to catch up..

Also wanted to mention the women at Berry Basket again. They are truly going to be missed. Lindee vists my blog frequently so I wanted to mention her and say thank you! Also mention everything is now 60%off. I have been keeping an eye on this table in there that I want. But today I bought a lamp that I thought I needed. I am spoiled with a capital S!!!!! I will try to post a picture of it soon.
