From one grandmother to another

I have been meaning to share these pics with Doug's sister Sandy for sometime. She is the grandma to these two amazing kids. Tate and Tobin. This was last July 4Th at Sandy's home.

Tobin has such a fun personality. Always smiling. I caught him by himself and I couldn't resist these shots.

I just got a view of the pictures we had taken Sunday. Oh my goodness. I cant wait to share with you all. It isn't hard to catch a great shot of Londyn she is so good in front of the camera.

I had a wonderful steak dinner with my parents. I love them so much. I started to do the dishes and my mom said "We are not going to worry about the dishes we are just going to visit" She was so excited for the company.

A couple of things

Kate this is the sweater that you gave Londyn. I love it. It is so cute. She does too! Look at that smile. She has the most beautiful blue eyes. She has a mild temp this evening and a little congested. But she still is smiling. These are a couple of layouts I did a couple of weeks ago. Working on one tonight. I am totally not energized tonight. I think it has to do with the weather. It is just a good night to snuggle up and watch the Blazer game here shortly. Noah bought dinner tonight. Pizza Hut pizza. It was actually good. Usually working in the pizza buisness the last thing I want is pizza. Thanks Noah!! Have a great evening.

Some Favorite Things

So this is the white stand that I got from the Berry Basket. I love it. I also got the brown placemat and a tablerunner in this brown floral print. The pick colander was from my dear friend Susanne back in the Scrap Yard days. I love it too. The chickies are little salt and pepper shakers that I got from Eager Beaver at the coast. I thought they were perfect for spring. So everything is 50%off now at The Berry Basket. Well looking forward to seeing our senior couple Ed and Peg tomorrow. Great time last evening getting pics done with Jenny. Can't wait to see how they turned out. Watched the Blazer game over at Tony and Penny's. Sure hoping for a win tomorrow evening. Miss you Friend

Well most of my readers know that this is Daelene, but for those that dont she lives in Israel and just went home from a short visit a few weeks ago. This is the second time that her, Penny, and I got together for pictures. We had fun taking them. Noah was a good sport and snapped a few. The guys thought we were goofy. This was the night before she was leaving and we were kinda sad. I sure miss her. I need to find the previous ones as we tried to duplicate some of the photo's.

I am thankful for

1. Waking up at 4:00am and staying up for 6hrs of peace to myself, I use to do that alot and get my time on computer, clean house, have my coffee. Havent done that in a very long time
2. Hearing the birds chirp outside this morning
3. Watching the hot air balloon out my window this morning
4. Cleaning out my inbox of about 70 emails that needed deleted
5. Catching up on my week of All My Children
6. Hearing Londyn wake up and greet me with the biggest smile, seeing her hair what little their is all messed up in the back
7. Cleaning my microwave
8. Cleaning my scrap area
9.Cleaning my food pantry
10. Cleaning my medicine cabinet
11. Folding all my dishtowels and placemats and putting them in order in the cupboard
12. Adding to the big recyle bin I have going in the garage
13. Continuing on with my day.

Makes me smile

At the end of a busy day this is what it is all about. She is the light of my life. I love every minute I get to be with her and when I am not I feel lost. She can put a smile on your face so quick. She is starting to roll on to her side now. She loves her baths. She has fallen asleep to grandma singing to her. I know strange considering my voice is terrible. She loves to lay and we call it busy feet. She just moves her feet and hands so quickly. Today as quick as I changed her diaper she wet, and then she laughed like she knew what she had done. I need to update some more photo's of her. Hopefully this weekend along with the other 100 things I have planned.

Today we had a nice visit from Doug's sister Sandy. She brought Tate and Tobin into Izzy's for lunch. Always great to see them. I guess Lacey and Jordan are taking Tate to see Hannah Montana tomorrow. Penny and I went and seen a dear friend at the hospital this evening. His name is Wade and he is one of our senior customers. He has been a dear friend to us. He has come in for years and has kinda adopted Penny and I. He always brings us the best gifts. He fell out of a tree about 13ft. He broke his foot, and two discs in his back. He also dislocated his hand. He was in ICU on Sunday and still in all his pain told his wife you better go by Izzy's and tell the girls or they will be mad. Amazing that he thought of us. He will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Off to take a hot bath and clean up the kitchen. Oh and went and got some treasures today at The Berry Basket. For those of you that know the store it has been a favorite to me and they are closing. Everything is 40%off. I will take pics and post later this weekend. Another one of my tasks. We will miss them so much. They have been wonderful ladies and have treated Penny and I so very well. the basket I got from you. I love it and it collects my fruit. I think of you everytime I look at it. Oh and can I just say kuddo's to you!! I dont know how you do it. Your yard is amazing, your house is beautiful. With twin boys how how how how can you keep it together? Oh and I might add you always look so good!! The next one is of Londyn's laundry. I know silly huh? But this makes me smile everytime I fold her little stuff. It always smells so good. The last one didn't turn out very well but it says" peas and quiet". It is on my walk in closet door and sometimes when I need a few minutes I hide in there. Now my secret is out. Four adults, two dogs, a cat and an infant I just cant keep up!! Seriously I still have poinsetta's on my porch. Gotta get it together. Okay that was my daily vent. Heidi you can try and leave a comment now and anyone else that might of tried to comment and couldnt. I think I have annoymous on there now and you can just check that. Have a great evening. What to do when you can't sleep

Okay bare with me as I see I should of turned the one pic around but I am doing real well

just getting them on my blog, I am learning new things all the time. She is so adorable. I know

I have already said that but she is. When Penny's oldest son was a baby I would laugh when he cried cause he was so cute, well she has this pout she does that is so funny. If she hangs on to it

she will get anything she wants. I just laugh at her cry too. She already has so many wrapped around her finger. She slept with grandpa and grandma last night. It is so funny she is already a bed hog. She does a complete 180 in bed and this morning she had her p.j.s half off, I dont know how she did it but she did.. She really is a great baby. She really only fusses when needing fed or a diaper change. Pretty funny that I was in a little ball at the foot of the bed so she could be comfortable. Well have a great week. I did scrap two layouts I will try to post sometime soon.

Two out of three of my pets

This is Lilly the cat. Bella is the pug. We also have Scruffy the other dog. I will try to find a picture of him sometime. We realize after having three pets that we are not pet people. Especially after Jordan brought Londyn home it was hard to adjust to all of them being under my feet. Bella sheds alot and snores like you wouldnt believe. I block it out as mothers can do that so well. She has kept Doug up many nights. But they are family too and I love them like they were my own. Anyways watching the Blazer's first playoff and at this point it doesn't look to good. Hang in there Kate. Her and I are big Blazer fans. What a nice day today and more nice weather tomorrow. Guess that means yardwork. Have a great Sunday.

My Sister My Best Friend

Just a shout out to Penny for picking up the slack at work for me today. I had to call in with a suprise gall bladder attack this morning. What would I do without her. We are there for one another when needed. I love you so much Pen. Have a good weekend everyone!!

Pasta Londyn Anyone?

Okay so she wasnt very thrilled. I just love snapping photo's of her all day long. We took her to Costco tonight and so many people came up to admire her. Jordan wasn't with us so of course everyone thinks she is mine. People that reconize me look at me like I didn't know you were pregnant? And then of course when they find out she is my grandaughter they say NO your to young to be a grandmother and I respond with my giddy smile" I know"!! Enjoying this blog, I am sure it will get old but right now it is fun to keep putting pics out there.. Right now Costco has 4x6 photo developing for .09cents. Good deal. Guess where I will be this weekend.

Visit from cousins in Israel

Rebecca is the oldest cousin from Israel, this is her first look and Londyn. My son Noah is really outnumbered here with all the girls. It was fun having them come into Izzy's all together where I work. We miss you girls already. Have a good evening.
